The upper control arm was attached with no issues. The pivot arms, turnbuckles, etc. were ‘ locked’ into place but the final positioning will need to be done during the front end alignment. Some on the F5 forum have stated that the Mevotech upper ball joints were too tight but I had no such problem.
I got the front shocks in place to check the spacers (see below). The lower spaces were stated in the manual to be 0.43” but all four were nominally 0.4”. This left a space of ~ 0.06 inches unfilled, potentially allowing the lower shock attachment point to wiggle back and forth. I found a 0.05” flat washer that has the perfect thickness but the ID is about 0.45” and I need it a bit larger than 0.5” to accommodate the bolt. I’ll try to find a washer of the appropriate dimensions or I’ll try to drill out the washer that I have (on my first attempt it didnt’ go so well).
