The Al is mostly off; I’ll finish it tomorrow. I needed to rearrange some of the shelving to get a place to keep the Al that I removed. I sent on order to Breeze Automotive for LCA bushings and #10 and #30 drill bits. Neither of the two hardware stores that I checked had them. I really miss McGuckin Hardware in Boulder!
I decided to get a tool cart from Harbor Freight. It was $70 and is rather sturdy and the drawer even works well. The trays were a bit bent on two of the corners from shipping, nothing a rubber mallet couldn’t rectify, but the powder coating was a bit peeled in that area so I’ll repair that with some lacquer.
I noticed that the DS footbox now has a kickout (you can see it to the left of the tool cart). That’s a nice mod from the factory as I’d put one in on my first build, not without some struggle with sheet aluminum.
