Almost. I still need to torque the hub nut but I need to get a 36 mm socket first.
The hub went on the spindle surprisingly easily. My last build entailed heating the hub and cooling the spindle to get the two to fit. This time I used a bit of lithium grease, a bit of wiggling of the hub and a couple of light taps with a rubber mallet and the hubs ‘popped’ on. A great relief! The red paint (actually fingernail polish) on the nuts indicates that they have been torqued to the appropriate setting.
